ANCEE 2.0 QUARTERLY IMPLEMENTATION REPORT FROM 1st January to 31st March 2026

This report covers the period from January to March 2026. It is prepared in accordance with Article 7.01 of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the African Development Bank and the Association of Power Utilities of Africa on February 21, 2025. It is based on continuous monitoring of project implementation and focuses on the results achieved, the challenges encountered, and the solutions proposed to overcome them. It serves as a tool for the project team and all members of its Steering Committee, enabling them to periodically monitor progress towards achieving the project objectives, aligned with the indicators of the results-oriented logical framework and the critical milestones established during the annual planning phase. This report also aims to identify and highlight the main risks and challenges facing project implementation. In this respect, it is primarily an internal project management tool.

During the period from January to March 2026, more than 52 training courses were delivered by six out of ten Centres of Excellence. The amount of the subsidy granted to electricity companies for these training courses was €238,408.
