SUBSIDY MECHANISM

A subsidy mechanism has been put in place to better target training in innovative areas related to renewable energy, energy transition and energy efficiency, climate change and process digita- lization, in a matrix where women’s participation is more noticeable. The main levers for granting subsidies are listed below:

  • 50% of the training cost for fragile countries (countries in transition) *.
  • +20% additional bonus granted for training in Renewable Energy(RE), transition and Energy Efficiency(EE), and Climate Change(CC).
  • +20% additional bonus granted for training benefiting women

TRAINING METHODS

Various training methods are offered to utilities, ranging from in-person training to off-site training and online training via a platform that is to be developed and dedi- cated to training.

These dynamic training methods are based on:

  • The pooling of knowledge and sharing of experiences;
  • Comprehensive training materials provided to each learner
  • Practitioner trainers with multidisciplinary experience.
