Closing of the ANCEE 2.0 Training of Trainers Workshop: A New Milestone in Strengthening Skills Across Africa
After several days of knowledge sharing, experience exchange and capacity building, the Training of Trainers Workshop of the African Network of Centres of Excellence in Electricity (ANCEE 2.0) concluded on 19 June 2026 at the Professional Training and Capacity Building Centre (CFPP) of the Communauté Électrique du Bénin (CEB) in Abomey-Calavi, Benin.
The workshop brought together participants from nine African delegations: Algeria, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, and Zambia, demonstrating the shared commitment of African power utilities to developing African expertise that supports the performance and transformation of the electricity sector.
The closing ceremony featured the presentation of certificates of participation to the trainers, recognizing their commitment and the skills acquired throughout the programme.
Through this initiative, APUA and ANCEE 2.0 reaffirm their commitment to developing human capital, promoting knowledge sharing, and building a strong network of trainers capable of sustainably strengthening the skills of professionals across Africa’s electricity sector.
