ANCEE 2.0 AT THE HEART OF OF CAPACITY BUILDING IN AFRICA

On the final day of the International Energy, Electricity, and Innovative Technologies Fair, held on September 8–10, 2026, at the Abidjan Exhibition Center, ANCEE 2.0 was presented by Mr. Basile Gbedji Armand Polycarpe under the theme: “The African Network of Centers of Excellence in Electricity: A Tool for Capacity Building and the Transformation of the African Electricity Sector”

This presentation highlighted the role of ANCEE 2.0 in human capital development, knowledge sharing, and cooperation through its network of 10 Centers of Excellence spread across 10 African countries. Against a backdrop of energy transition, digitalization, and innovation, ANCEE 2.0 is emerging as a strategic driver for skills development and for supporting the sustainable transformation of Africa’s electricity sector.
