ANCEE 2.0 STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

The third ANCEE Steering Committee meeting was held in person on July 29 in Accra on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Association of Power Utilities of Africa (APUA) and online on August 4, 2026, with all members in attendance. This steering committee meeting allowed the Project Management Unit to present a progress review of the activities included in the annual budgeted work plan for 2026.

Thus, the members ensured the project’s smooth implementation by verifying compliance with the strategic objectives, the expected quality standards, and the budget allocated for carrying out the activities. During this session, emphasis was placed on promoting the technical assistance service within the electricity sector’s value chain, strengthening peer learning within the network, standardized diagnostic tools for evaluating centers of excellence, feasibility studies aligned with donors’ funding requirements, and the impact of ANCEE training on the performance of Power utilities.

The next steering committee meeting will take place in late November or early December 2026 to make appropriate decisions and monitor the project’s progress.
